Wordia Blog
Quite a grand aspiration that – our subject title… But something interesting is afoot at Wordia HQ.
Over the last two years, you have really taken to Wordia as a simple, innovative way to bring worlds alive (language & subject vocabulary).
Nowhere more so than in the classroom, where Wordia is used by thousands of teachers everyday as a great Quick Starter resource. Video vocab is a neat way to start the lesson!
We’re now mapping Wordia to the syllabus – to the individual subjects and topics that educators need to teach. The goal being to build the worlds best Quick Starters… and now, the worlds best (word-based) learning games! But for that, we need your help.
COMPETITION!
The Wordia team would like to turn your classroom vocabulary (the words you need to teach each day) into a fantastic learning games, that can be used to engage your pupils: raising literacy levels through video and games (read, games-based learning!).
We’re going to pick one school each week, and create a brand new game format, featuring your vocab list – your word sets.
