Wordia Blog

This week saw the 2000th vocabulary game created since we first introduced Game Builder a couple of months ago. A big thanks to every teacher and student who has helped contribute to our ongoing aim of raising literacy in schools!

But more rewarding than any number is that students, at different ages, are using this feature as a digital learning resource that goes beyond the limitations of a subject textbook - and enables them to explore vocabulary in an exciting new way.

Students can build up their own vocabulary lists as they come across new subject words - taking a more hands-on approach and developing a richer learning experience that transcends the walls of a classroom. Educators engaging students with a more personalised learning platform, where the challenge of competing with classmates and other schools in the district, adds to the positive reinforcement of the learning process.

We look forward to sharing with you all the new developments that we have planned for Game Builder over the coming months. Meanwhile, if you have any feedback on the feature, or if there are any game types that you would like to see, then please get in touch (feedback@wordia.com) - and together we can continue to push the boundaries of digital learning!
