As the Christmas wind-down begins and the snow starts to settle outside, what better way to occupy five minutes of your time, than challenging some of the UK’s best wordsmiths in our new crossword game!

As regular Wordia-word-watchers will know, we’ve developed a crossword format that allows us to integrate video with word clues… We’re really excited about this, as it means that we can start creating educational games by mapping subject vocabulary from the Key Stage – to a fun, familiar game format.

We decided to test this out with a quick-turn-around game for the UK homeless charity, Crisis At Christmas – with some very recognisable faces! So if you fancy challenging TV’s David Mitchell, Ian Hislop, Danny Wallace, Hardeep Singh Koli or the comedian Will Smith – get quizzing!
